TXL SERIES | EXTRA LOAD UNITS FOR TORKEL BATTERY TEST SYSTEMS | MEGGER
These Battery Load Units are sophisticated instruments designed mainly for capacity tests. All three units can be programmed to test a battery bank at constant current, constant power, or using a user-de-fined load profile. TORKEL can also be used for testing battery chargers and other electrical equipment that require resistive load testing.

The TXL series are extra load units for the TORKEL battery test systems. They are designed to provide higher load currents for use in constant current or constant power tests. Together, TORKEL and the TXL extra loads form a system that can discharge batteries with currents of up to several kA. The TXL extra loads are connected directly to the battery, and TORKEL measures the total current using a clamp-on ammeter.
There are five extra loads available: TXL830, TXL850, TXL865, TXL870, and TXL890. The details for these can be found in the TORKEL data sheet.
