Street lighting ( PJU ) Solar LED street lighting is the use of LED ( Light Emitting Diode ) is a semiconductor that when given voltage will emit light energy using solar power alternative as a power supply . It is used for roads in areas not reached by PLN and also areas that are experiencing electric energy crisis , especially in remote areas . But today PJU LED Solar is also in use for many urban areas such as major roads , residential area roads , bus stops , parking lots , gas stations etc .
